I am an applied researcher using data to improve workplace learning experiences and help people thrive.

I utilize validated survey instruments, conduct interviews, and collect open-ended feedback to understand and improve people's learning experiences. Standardized, numerical data allow us to understand the average experience of a large group of people. In-depth interviews allow us to hear directly from people in their own words, leading to the discovery of problems and answers we may not have considered. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are crucial to answering applied research questions. I utilize R, NVivo, and Google Sheets/Excel to conduct statistical and thematic analyses.

In my personal life,

I dance, write, and play music. I love reading historical and science fiction, self-help, and anti-racist books. I try to implement what I know about the science of well-being by making time to move everyday, prioritizing relationships, and balancing engagement in the world with rest.
